The Bomber Jacket

Topshop - £48
As it starts to get colder I believe there will be one staple piece that everyone should own, a bomber jacket. With the weather in England being so confusing its hard to know what to wear and whether you will need a jacket. And that is where these jackets come in, they are so light weight that they wont have you melting but are guaranteed to keep you warm if it gets a bit chilly (which is bound to happen here).

I had my eye on this jacket for a while and just thought ah why not just buy it! I'm glad I did I love the quilted style of the jacket along with the red lining inside, I got mine in a size 10 and it fits perfectly and is true to size. I'm loving so many things in Topshop its hard to stay away but with so many of these jackets to choose from I definitely recommend investing in one of these bad boys.

Oily Skincare Wishlist & Advice

Oily Skin WIshlist

I feel like I am fighting a constant battle with my skin and it can be quite a depressing thing when all you really want is clear skin. However I refuse to be defeated and I am constantly on the look out for other products that may help me out a lil'. So after doing some research I have come across some products that I really want to try out.
Here's what I'm lusting after at the moment... 1. Bioderma Sebium H20 - Micelle Solution I'm sure everyone has heard about or even tried the Bioderma Sensibio H20 so when I came across the Sebium H20 which is specifically for imperfection prone skin I instantly wanted it. As I have already tried Bioderma Sinsibo and loved it I really have high hopes for this one!
2. Urban Decay De - Slick This is something I'm definitely interested in, I do believe it had been around for a while but has just been recently repackaged and I'm loving the new look. This spray is designed to be used after applying your make up to reduce the amount of time you have to touch up during the day and reduce oil.
3. Dermalogica Oil Control Lotion One of the more pricier products, this product is designed to help hydrate your skin (believe it or not oily skin still needs to be hydrated) while reducing oil and calming irritated skin. This is the type of product I am normally sceptical about as I don't normally like using many lotions on my face but this also promises to prevent future breakouts definitely something I would like to try.
4. Nars Sheer Matte Foundation A foundation especially made for a matte finish? I'm there! Well I hope to be soon...this is an oil free foundation that promises to control shine though out the day as well as evening out your skin tone. I have previously tried a tinted moisturiser by Nars and I loved it so I really would like to try one of their foundations.
Here are a few things I've learnt over the years...
Exfoliate - This is definitely important as it controls oil production as well as preventing your pores to clog which can lead to a breakout. Exfoliating also leaves your skin feeling smooth.
Moisturise - This one may sound weird and I am a bit of a hypocrite here as I don't moisturise my face everyday but believe it or not oily skin still needs moisturising. Lack of water = dehydration even with oily skin.
Use a clay based cleanser - Get rid of any oil on the skins surface as well as deeply cleansing and unclogging your skin.
Clay face masks - These should be used once or twice a week, this helps to control the glands in your skin that produce oil as well as drawing out any muck from clogged pores.

Flower in the air

 photo fd82ada1-e793-4b92-9bb4-7ab54a4daabb_zps3e10be62.jpg

This perfume is definitely my current favourite, I got a tester in a magazine (glamour I think) and I loved it! I wore it while I was shopping in central London and by the end of the day I could still smell it and I just knew I had to get it. So while going shopping with my best friend Hannah she offered to buy it for me as an early 21st birthday present and although I refused she insisted so who am I to say no?

This new perfume by Kenzo has a great flowery, rose sensual smell that is not too over powering which is what really attracted me to it. Some perfumes after a while just make me feel sick but this is a nice subtle smell. I love the packaging its simple and classy with a cute poppy. Definitely a scent I recommend.

I'm so lucky to have a best friend like Hannah, not many people 'get' me and I could probably count my close friends on one hand but we've been friends since school and she's one of the few people that can really make me laugh. I'm so proud of her as she's just about to start uni and I know she's going to do so well!

Bedroom Inspiration

I'm not sure whether this post is more for you guys or for me,  I've decided to start planning my bedroom and needed a lil' inspiration. It's come to that time in my life where I need change and my bedroom is definitely a place where I want to start. After moving back from uni (flat mate issues ergh) I'm glad to be back home with genuine people around me as there is nothing worse than living in negative energy but my bedroom seriously needs updating.
So after speaking to my lovely stepdad we've agreed that we will look into getting my bedroom sorted after my 21st birthday (I'm getting so old) however he said to start jotting ideas down. When I pop into shops like John Lewis the amount of stuff that catches my eye I just want to buy it all even though my room isn't even decorated. One thing I have noticed is that I'm into the whole white pure look with a splash of colour and I've decided my chosen colour is pink. I love all the flowery patterns that are around at the moment I Just cant wait to get started!
Here's what I've got together so far, you can kind of see where I'm going with this and btw I love the Polyvore website a great way to get all your ideas out of your head.

Peace Of Mind

Sometimes do you ever forget to jut breathe? I know I do most of the time my mind just wont stop and it gets to the point where you just have to take a step back and relax! Now I'm not known for doing anything along the lines of relaxing and if given the chance I can even worry about worrying too much. crazy right?

I'm definitely the stressy type and sometimes I really just need to take a chill pill, I often get tension headaches and I have now found the 'alternative to paracetamol' according to the lady on the origins counter peace of mind is the key to on the spot relief.

Peace of Mind £13
Now this little bottle may seem a bit on the pricy side but you really only need a tiny tab on your ear lobes, temples and the back of your neck. The tingling sensation is meant to melt away all your tension and although I do believe this happens the main aspect of this product I love is the smell. With the minty smell I just can't help but close my eyes and take a deep breath. If your a anxious stress head like me and suffer from tension headaches I really recommend this product and ignore the price I have a feeling this little bottle is going to last me a long time.

I know, a seriously depressing subject but Autumn/Winter is on its way and our short summer is sadly soon to end. While flicking through this months magazines and wishing at any moment I suddenly become a millionaire I've realised there are a few items that have really been catching my eye. When I'm bored there's nothing I love more than to browse the internet and make a little list of the things I will hopefully eventually get into my wardrobe! One shop that is seriously impressing me at the moment has to be Topshop, although not the cheapest place they're always bang on trend. So, apologies a lot of these items are from Topshop.

Cami - Primark
Jamie Jeans - Topshop
Sleeveless Biker - H&M
JuJu Jellies - Asos
Rings - Forever 21

Slightly obsessed with these jeans from Topshop they are so comfortable I think if I could wear the every single day I would. After going into primark for doughnuts for my hair I also came out with this cami which I really like, the flowers are cute and I like the fact its black (black is my new fave). I think camis are great for just throwing a quick outfit together without looking too boring. This is the first time I've worn this sleeveless jacket from H&M which is perfect when you want to wear something over your outfit but its too hot for a long sleeved leather jacket.
